Dr. Jacobs has been with the Department of Public Administration since 1991 and is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco. Dr. Jacobs' previous experiences include working as the Assistant to the President at Merrimack College in Massachusetts. Dr. Jacobs is a subject matter expert with extensive contributions to the field through his research and his teaching areas including: Educational Leadership, Public Administration, Higher Education, and Graduate Teacher Education. In addition to numerous articles, Dr. Jacobs has written six books and monographs. His publications have garnered numerous honors and awards, including the Seton-Neumann Laureate from the United States Catholic Conference.
Dr. Jacobs received his PhD from the University of Tulsa. In addition, Dr. Jacobs holds four Master's degrees, as well as a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University.
