Villanova Military Savings
Active-duty servicemembers, Guardsmen and Reservists are eligible to receive at least 15% savings per certificate course, and 10% per course on degree programs. These savings can often be combined with tuition assistance and/or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits.
Military Tuition Assistance
The U.S. Military’s tuition assistance program pays up to 100% of tuition fees and expenses for full-time, active-duty servicemembers in any branch of the military, up to a maximum of $250 per credit hour and a personal maximum of $4,500 per fiscal year for each student. Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application process and restrictions. This money is usually paid directly to the institution by the individual services. Some National Guard and Reserve units also provide tuition assistance; however, the benefits may differ from those offered by the full-time, active-duty program.
VA Education Benefits
The VA offers a variety of education benefit programs. If you are planning to use VA education assistance to pay for your education, please contact Villanova’s financial aid office at 610-519-4010 or firstname.lastname@example.org or the Veterans' Certification office at 610-519-4030.
