Nancy Gucwa – CFP
Ms. Gucwa graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1980 as a member of the first West Point class containing women. Following her graduation and commissioning, she served both overseas and as a jumpmaster in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After six years of active duty, she entered a career in banking and finance, serving as vice president for a Fortune 500 company. Ms. Gucwa has done a number of training events and speaking engagements in all sectors, including The Citadel and the Freedoms Foundation, as well as many private sector organizations. Her most requested keynote address is "From Platoon Leader to Business Leader - Lessons from a West Pointer" in which she shares her personal story of what it was like to be one of the first women at West Point and how the lessons she learned there can make your organization more successful.

Dennis Haley – BS
Following his graduation from the United States Naval Academy, Mr. Haley successfully completed Admiral Rickover's nuclear power training program and served onboard the USS Long Beach – a nuclear powered cruiser. Leaving the Navy, he joined a small family-owned HVAC company in Philadelphia, PA. Over a 25-year career, he grew this small business into one of the largest and most respected HVAC companies in the Delaware Valley. Mr. Haley then left the heating and air conditioning industry and founded Academy Leadership, LLC to help others reach their full potential as leaders. He developed the “Lead2Succeed” process that creates the ideal environment for behavior change to take place.

Mike McDannell – MBA
From 1972 to 1996, Colonel McDannell held a succession of military positions of increasing rank and responsibility, including director of academy advancement and chief of leadership development branch at West Point and chief of staff and deputy commander, U.S. Army Headquarters, Southwest Asia. He has extensive experience creating and implementing training systems, developing personnel programs, and organizing company policies and procedures. He also has extensive international consulting experience and has served as an expert witness on leadership and gender issues for several national commissions and court cases. He is currently a vice president of Career Concepts, Inc., an HR consulting company in the greater Philadelphia area.

Ed Ruggero – MA
After graduating from the United States Military Academy in 1980, Mr. Ruggero was commissioned in the United States Army and served as an infantry officer in a variety of positions around the world. In 1987, he joined the faculty at West Point where he taught writing and literature. He left the service in 1991 to pursue a career as a writer, public speaker and trainer. His writings on leadership, his story-telling talents and the success of his first five novels brought him to the attention of the Pentagon, and in 1998 he was asked to co-author the “US Army Field Manual Army Leadership” which is used throughout the service to teach the subject at all levels. In 2001, HarperCollins published Mr. Ruggero’s first non-fiction book, “Duty First: West Point and the Making of American Leaders”, a study of leader development at the United States Military Academy. And, in November 2003, “Combat Jump: The Young Men Who Led the Assault On Fortress Europe, July 1943”. Also in 2003, he co-authored “The Leader's Compass: Set Your Course For Leadership Success” – a fictional story of how one leader developed his "leadership philosophy." His next book will be about the World War II paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division and the fighting in Normandy in 1944.

Alan D. Campbell – PhD, CPA, CMA, CFP
Dr. Campbell is an adjunct professor of accounting for the Saint Leo University Center for Online Learning in Tampa, Florida.

Thomas R. Robinson – PhD, CPA, CFP, CFA
Dr. Robinson is an associate professor of accounting at the University of Miami.
